My Experience

My education started with stories – visual stories. I studied film production, theory and criticism at York University. I learned best what a team is working on film and video projects with my classmates, and how it feels when everyone is invested and working towards a common goal. My focus was on cinematography and editing. I loved how images, motion and order create a story with the power to move people’s emotions.

I started working for ChimpAgency as a Front End Developer and Designer from their office in St. Catharines, Ontario right out of my 2 year New Media program from Niagara College. They saw my work at a student gallery and liked both my style and how clean my code was under the hood.

Currently, I’m working remotely from Kelowna, BC. I continue to design and develop but have taken on the role of Project Coordinator.

I moved from Front End Developer when staffing issues required I take on more responsibility. When our Back End Developer was replaced with a whole team in Serbia, I moved to Project Coordinator to fill the gap between client, designer and developers.

I changed the whole website development process when we lost the team in Serbia. ChimpAgency still needed websites made, and I was the only one left to do it.

I now perform as an entire web team, executing digital projects from ideation to completion, performing all tasks from client support, information hierarchy & planning, development, content migration and training.
